The role

Based on data from our previous hotel developments, we have built a construction cost model in Excel to support the financial analysis of new hotel acquisition projects. This model helps us understand, estimate, and benchmark build-out costs. However, it’s still a work in progress.

Your challenge will be to:

  • Optimize and improve the structure and logic of the current Excel-based model
  • Streamline and integrate data from other development projects
  • Make the model user-friendly and scalable for future hotel projects
  • Set it up so it remains easily updatable with new market data over time

This internship and/or graduation assignment offers a deep dive into real estate development, construction cost analysis, and the hospitality industry from the inside out.
