As our Hotel Operations Manager, hospitality and a passion for food is running through your veins. Your mission? Lead and inspire our team through our core values, drive our local F&B offering, and manage both the strategic and day-to-day operations with finesse and agile mindset. The role
You’re stepping into a new role at our hotel, one created out of necessity to meet the growing needs of our team, guests, and expanding property.   • Responsible for the guest satisfaction, well-being of our employees & financial performance
  • Lead by example by applying our unique culture foundation combined with personal values
  • Take accountability for the F&B success on site
  • Create excitement and storytelling around our local F&B suppliers, products and services 
  • Identify and activate commercial driven initiatives
  • Guide, coach and facilitate professional (and therefore personal) growth team members
  • Responsible for recruitment, onboarding and retention
  • Take (co) responsibility for housekeeping & maintenance success on site
  • Responsible for the look, feeling & crispness of the hotel
  • You stay on top of our PMS, POS and SOPs constantly identify root causes and create long term solutions
  • Weekly collaboration with fellow teams based in The Usual Office: Commercial team, F&B, IT, Brand, ESG, Finance & Build.
  • Responsible for the safety and security on site
  • Responsible for driving our (agile) Hotel operations meetings.
Your superpowers and requirements
  • Experienced and F&B savvy operator and have prior experience (+/- 5-7 years) in similar and/or leadership roles
  • Someone with a passion for hospitality, you inspire an enthusiastic guest-centred approach
  • Fluency in English/Dutch is essential, additional languages are a plus 
  • You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail
  • A hands-on, lead-by-example attitude. You are not that laptop-manager
  • A super host with huge passion for creating world class experiences 
  • Leadership focused on empowerment and inclusivity  
  • Confident & calm in dealing with challenging situations and crisis management 
  • Experience in presenting and delivering brand vision 
  • IT skills for relevant property management software systems & POS software
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
  • Fulltime and flexible; In line with occupancy and events. Covering a shift from time to time (07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00) makes you excited
  • Must have a heart for sustainability
  • You are legally allowed to work in The Netherlands.
