The role
You enjoy traveling, as much of our work takes place in hotels. No two days are the same. One day, you might be working on projects that impact employees, such as optimizing tools and systems, co-facilitating cultural- and operational training, or engaging in challenging one-on-one conversations. Another day, you could be involved in pre-opening project management, analyzing guest reviews, guest data analytics, P&L performance, and overall hotel results. On other days, you may find yourself supporting operational challenges, managing a crisis, taking a hands-on shift, or contributing to discussions about our company’s five-year plan. 

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will be engaged in:
  • (Co-)develop and execute strategies, projects, and initiatives that directly impact employees, guests, and hotel P&L.
  • Lead or support pre-opening project management, ensuring smooth preparation and handover to operations.
  • Collaborate across departments: People & Culture, Brand, ESG, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and F&B, to ensure efficient and consistent processes.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and reports, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve hotel and guest performance.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate trainings that strengthen culture, operations, guest experience, and commercial results.
  • Analyze guest reviews, operational data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
  • Optimize hotel systems and software to reduce workload, remove friction, and support seamless operations.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives in waste reduction, energy conservation, water management, and responsible sourcing.
  • Prepare clear presentations and documentation to communicate deliverables, results, and progress.
  • Take ownership of operational challenges and opportunities, providing hands-on support where needed and ensuring long-term improvements.
Your superpowers and requirements
  • Currently studying or recently graduated from a Hotelschool (Hospitality Management or related field).
  • Basic understanding of hotel operations (Rooms, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping).
  • Familiarity with hospitality finance (P&L basics, forecasting, budgeting).
  • Interest in pre-opening projects, sustainability, and innovation in hospitality.
  • Interest in working with data (guest reviews, operational KPIs, and financial figures).
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel for analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, Word for documentation).
  • Curiosity for systems and willingness to learn hotel software (PMS, POS, or other operational tools).
  • Strong communication skills in English (and preferably one other language).
  • Able to engage with colleagues at different levels, from line employees to management.
  • Open to facilitating or co-facilitating trainings, workshops, or presentations.Flexibility and adaptability: able to switch between analytical tasks, operational support, and strategic discussions.
  • Preferred Residence location: Rotterdam or Amsterdam
  • Available for 4-6 months, starting February 2026
